This seminar will explore the principles of the Zero Trust model and its implementation through Zero-Trust Network Access (ZTNA) architectures. From its origins, the needs that led to its emergence, and its terminology, to the various architectural approaches and their deployment in SMEs, this event will provide technical insights into how Zero Trust rethinks access control and the securing of IT environments. From fundamental concepts to demonstrations of architectures used in production, the presentations will enhance understanding of the possibilities, technical choices, and challenges associated with the adoption of ZTNA.

Prof. Lucas Haab – Introduction to Zero Trust: needs, history and terminology

Why did the Zero Trust model emerge and what needs does it seek to address? Professor Lucas Haab will discuss the origins of this approach, its evolution, and the fundamental principles that define it. Anthony will present various approaches to Zero-Trust Network Access (ZTNA) architecture, highlighting their specificities and integration possibilities within small and medium-sized enterprise environments.
